Assumption of Risk for Losses

Your purchase of any product from MTN Local is made pursuant to a shipment contract. A shipment contract is a contract of sale in which a MTN Local bears the risk of loss only until the shipment of any goods or products that you order arrives at is named place of shipment (typically the United States Postal Service or other private third party carrier). This means that if any goods or products that you order are damaged or lost in transit by the carrier, your right of action lies against the carrier, not MTN Local.

Product Specifications

MTN Local makes all reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy in product specifications. MTN Local can’t guarantee or warrant that product descriptions or other content of this Website is wholly without error or up-to-date. If you are dissatisfied with a product that you receive from MTN Local you may return it in a new, unused condition for a full refund or credit towards any other product we offer.

Please support local snowboard shops because they have spent the time and money it takes to guide you to the best possible MTN Local snowboard that fits your needs. Our authorized dealers do not sell our products on EBAY because there is no way to insure that you get the best possible service. EBAY sellers have used other means to buy boards from us and, unfortunately if you buy a board on EBAY, which is not an authorized MTN Local dealer, it voids any warranty that would otherwise be available for you. Please buy safe and purchase our products DIRECT ONLINE from us or from an AUTHORIZED MTN LOCAL DEALER ONLY! A complete list of our authorized dealers is available on this Website.

Order Acknowledgement

You just ordered a custom built snowboard. It is hand shaped just for you. It may take up to 4 weeks to construct, depending on our production schedule. When we receive your order, we will email you and verify the specifications.  We want to be sure your boot size will fit the build. Since we do not employ robots, your board is shaped by human hands. The finished board shape and dimensions may vary slightly.

Disputes

Any disputes under this Agreement shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Vermont and any dispute hereunder shall be filed with a mutually-selected arbitrator, with any arbitration to occur in Burlington, Vermont.  

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ARBITRATION:  YOU AGREE AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT USE OF THE WEBSITE, SPECIFICALLY BY PLACING ANY ORDERS OR MAKING ANY INQUIRES THROUGH THE WEBSITE, CONSTITUTES A BINDING, EXPLICIT AGREEMENT TO ARBITRATE.  YOU UNDERSTAND THAT YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BRING A LAWSUIT CONCERNING ANY DISPUTE THAT MAY ARISE WHICH IS COVERED BY THE ARBITRATION AGREEMENT, UNLESS IT INVOLVES A QUESTION OF CONSTITUTIONAL OR CIVIL RIGHTS LAW.  INSTEAD, BOTH PARTIES AGREE TO SUBMIT ANY SUCH DISPUTE TO AN IMPARTIAL ARBITRATOR.
